The 2025 FEI European Championship for Juniors and Young Riders in Eventing have come to an end in Strzegom. Sunday’s final show jumping round brought plenty of excitement and reshuffling in the rankings, with the battle for medals lasting until the very last ride.
The most thrilling day of the FEI European Championship for Juniors and Young Riders in eventing is behind us. Today’s cross-country phase clearly demonstrated that there’s no room for chance in this sport. Courage, precision, and a well-crafted strategy were the key ingredients to success on Strzegom’s demanding cross-country course.
The Young Riders were the first to take on the course. After Friday’s dressage, it seemed the German team would remain in control, but Saturday brought significant shifts in the standings.
The second day of competition at the Strzegom arena as part of the FEI Eventing European Championship for Juniors and Young Riders has come to an end, and with it, the full results of the dressage test in both categories are now available. Just like yesterday, the day proved to be another successful one for Team Germany.
German rider Anna-Maria Triskatis maintained her lead after two days of dressage in the Junior category and continues to hold first place in the individual rankings, which includes as many as 64 competitors.
Although the FEI Eventing European Championship for Juniors and Young Riders, held in Morawa near Strzegom, have only just begun, it has already brought the first reasons for celebration for the German team.
The opening day of competition was all about dressage. Half of the athletes in both age categories – Juniors and Young Riders – presented their competitions in the Strzegom arena.
The International Equestrian Federation (FEI) has once again entrusted the LKS Stragona with hosting the European Championships for Young Riders and Juniors in Eventing.
From 21–24 August 2025 Morawa, near Strzegom, will become the arena for Europe’s best young eventing riders. Competitors from 18 countries will fight for medals in two age categories – juniors (14–18 years) and young riders (16–21 years).
